Verdict is a native macOS menu bar app built with Swift, SwiftUI, and SwiftData. It runs a sandboxed main app paired with an unsandboxed LaunchAgent helper that collects CPU, GPU, memory, disk I/O, storage, and battery metrics via IOKit and Mach APIs every 30 seconds. After a week of data, the recommendation engine identifies bottlenecks, scores your system health, and maps your usage to a good/better/best Mac pick from the current Apple lineup. An interactive What-If simulator lets you compare any config side by side with your real numbers. Includes weekly digest notifications, PDF report exports, and full Liquid Glass support on macOS Tahoe. Targeting the Mac App Store.
